Becker Big Lake Youth Hockey

Recruitment & Retention Committee -  The focus on this committee will be to find new ways we can get kids to participate in hockey and to make sure we are keeping them as they come up through the ranks.  Please contact Heather Kossila at hkossila@mcgough.com if you are interested in helping build the BBLYHA. 

RECRUITMENT & RETENTION!  It is a primary and important goal for the BBLYHA to increase participation in youth hockey within the Becker and Big Lake Communities.  A flyer is available for parades, open houses at the schools and available for distribution to all summer sports.  If you want any flyers for both boys and girls summer please contact Krisha Friede at krishaf@burschtravel.com for free brochures.

Picture Coordinator -  Interested in planning, coordinating and organizing team pictures?  This will qualify for your entire volunteer hours for the 2011-2012 season.  Again please contact Alicia Harakh at alihara245@gmail.com . 

Pancake Breakfast Coordinator -  We are planning the annual Pancake Breakfast for September 11 from 8am to noon at the Becker Community Center. The Becker Lion's have volunteered to help make the event a success again this year, but we need additional BBLYHA volunteers as well.  Please contact Alicia Harakh alihara245@gmail.com

Apparel Committee -  1 to 2 parents from each level are needed to make decisions for warm-ups for the next few seasons.  Jeff Piehl has offer to lead this committee.  Please Contact Jeff  at  Piehl@izoom.net   

S.K.A.T.E. Coordinator -  This is the program that is sponsored by USA Hockey and allows the kids with good grades to earn gift cards and or prizes.  A volunteer will be needed to manage the S.K.A.T.E. Program.  Please contact Alicia Harakh at alihara245@gmail.com

Ice Arena Committee - We have had some new interest in the Ice Arena Committee and several volunteers from each community will be needed to research viable local indoor ice arena options.  Please contact Fred Dembinski at dembinf@yahoo.com or call 843-557-6369.
