GOALIE GEAR & DISCOUNT
The association has a few sets of goalie available for use for any player wanting to try out the position.
All Goalies Squirt and Above will receive a 50% Discount off of their perspective Ice Fees if they own all of their own gear. Please Contact Registrar for additional Questions.
BBLYHA GOALIE CLINICS
BBLYHA Goalie Clincs are held twice a month and are led by Goalie Coach Steve Carroll and other BBYHLA Coaches. Anyone with questions in regards to the clinic should contact Program Directors.
Note : Goalie Clinics are scheduled for Squirt Level and Above. Mites should contact a program director to obtain permission to attend these clinics.
GOALIE COACH STEVE CARROLL
BBLYHA is fortunate to have Goalie Coach Steve Carroll as our Goalie Clinic Instructor. Coach Carroll is the current USA Hockey's Minnesota District goalie coach-in-chief.
Carroll has more than a quarter century of goalie coaching experience and is regarded as one of the top goalie instructors in the Midwest. Steve also serves as goalie coach-in-chief for USA Hockey’s Minnesota District. He also runs his own goalie school and each year coaches hundreds of boys and girls of all skill levels.
An Edina, Minn. native, Carroll was a two-time All-America goalie for Minnesota State University, Mankato. He led the Mavericks to the 1980 NCAA Division II National Championship, where he was named the tournament's MVP.
